Leadership Development
Our culturally specific leadership programs serve the unique need of minority communities in the twin cities region. We help prepare people to strengthen their skill set, enhance their confidence, and direct their course of action to become influential role models in their community.
Leadership development is a shared responsibility
Effective leadership development cuts across and reinforces learning in multiple settings - in programs, in school, in faith-based institutions, and in the community.
Leaders need the tools and knowledge to tackle the ever-growing problems facing our communities
We help leaders build personal relationships, respect, and mutual understanding with community stakeholders through home visits, community walks, and meetings.
Our model focuses on cultivating collaborations with community partners that honor the leaders’ expertise and experience and involve community partners in the design, facilitation, and evaluation of service initiatives. Community building projects that solve issues, bring people together and educate the public about social issues to create lasting solutions are what is needed.
